Represent edition by David L Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I thought Represent was a great read because it kept me interested the whole time reading. Innocent was to cocky for his own pants to be running game the way he did. I had a feeling that Trevor wasn't all that trustworthy. I was hoping that Prentice wouldn't get caught up but I guess he had no choice since Innocent was gone for life. He held it down like family should but I just knew he was going to be killed or go to jail for life with Innocent. He did hav some smarts to help him through the business. For some reason I wasn't trusting Tone each time money kept coming up missing but just couldn't put the finger on it until I kept reading. I was nervous for Prentice but glad he kept he head straight and was able to come out alive and move away to get a fresh new start since he had a baby on the way. Drac was cool along with Swift. The two younger kids were too much into the game but that's how kids are today who follow.I kind understood Angel position, but she needed to realize that family is family and sometimes you have to do things to help the family business keep going even though it's drug related. I was glad that she did not decide to move with Prentice. I am glad that the trucking company is doing well and became legit since Tammy has taken over.
I would recommend this novel for anyone to read. I read it in two days and that's a record for me. If it has me interested in the beginning then I am hooked to continue.
Great job Mr. David L!
I DECIDE TO TRY DAVID L BOOK AFTER NOT HERE OF HIM BEFORE THE BOOK WAS GOOD AND I WILL BE BUY THE REST OF HIS BOOK. LOVE THE ENDING.
Great read...a real page turner and there were many on my Iphone!! I enjoyed the book and felt the pain of the characters. On to the next David L. Book...but which one??
My first read by this author.i really enjoyed Represent the story was was good and also the characters. I am glad Prentice got out and him and Angel stayed together. I was afraid she would leaves him
This was my first read by this author and I must say it was great! Its always refreshing to step away from the typical "urban" read and just get something new. Although there was drug relation and a little violence there were pros revealed right along with the cons. The editing was outstanding and the author did his thing too. I will DEFINITELY see this book in paperback in my personal library. David L will now be one of MY authors!
I enjoyed this read although Trenton was rich and so confident of himself that he thought he was the only one who could run the business, Prentice the brother had no thoughts of ever getting in the business, although Dad made sure they all was prepared to handle things including the spoiled sister.. when it all boils down blood is thicker then anything Prentice had to step up and handle things, not gonna tell anymore secrets about book but was a good read. Come on David L need some more books...
This book by David L was a great read. It was not what I expected. I gave this book a 5 star because the story was on point and smooth, no grammatical errors, and it wasn't too predictable. I was drawn into the story.
I like how the story was told from Prentice's view. I was able to get to know him. He was trying to do the right thing and go the right path but things happened and he was force in the street life. He tried so hard to stay away from the drug life but it came to him unfortunately. I like how he over came his obstacles. I would recommend this book for someone who wants to read something different about the street life.
